Welcome to The Rink Studios™ (“Rink Studios”, “we” “our”, “us”). Rink Studios enables users to upload, submit and share audio and visual content and information which may be stored remotely with our third party vendor. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store, use and disclose your information when you use (the “Website”), and all related sites, players, widgets, tools, apps, data, software, and other services provided by us.

Why does Rink Studios collect personal information?

Rink Studios may also use your personal information and non-personal information to help Rink Studios and its commercial partners deliver targeted advertisements, promotions and other similar initiatives to you. What information does Rink Studios collect?

Rink Studios will need basic personal information from you that might consist of all or part ofthe following: the real name of the account holder; information such as your username and password; date of birth; gender; address, postal code, and county; email address; phone numbers; credit/charge card information to collect from you various fees and charges for services and/or products (e.g., studio rental, tickets, or merchandise); bank account and/or PayPal or other account information for processing payments to you for the sale of your music. In addition, we might ask for personal information that will help remind you of your Website account user name and/or password in the event you forget or lose such information.

If you connect to the Website using credentials from a third party application (e.g., Facebook), you authorize us to collect your authentication information, such as your username and encrypted access credentials. We may also collect other information available on or through your third party application account, including but not limited to: user generated content (such as messages, posts, comments, profile picture, pages, friend’s names and profile pictures, images, feeds or communications exchanged on the third party application), additional customer profile information (such as age, gender, employer, profession, geographic location, education information, financial status, habits and preferences); and information relating to your real time location.

Rink Studios may also collect non-personal information from you, including the names of your songs and albums and the associated artists; videos or photographs, the year that your recordings were made/released; and the name(s) of the person or entity that owns and controls the rights to the songs, albums and/or artwork that you deliver to Rink Studios. Such information may, without limitation, be used to keep track of how certain albums and/or songs are selling for ranking charts. Such information may allow us to make recommendations to you and suggest relevant content.

You may request that we delete your user account from the Website. In such case, please note that some of your personal information may remain in our records even after your account is deleted, for purposes of reporting or payment. We will only keep your personal information as long as it is necessary to do so, typically for a reasonable period of time after the last reporting cycle relating to content that you have submitted. We also retain the rights to close and remove any inactive accounts (e.g., accounts with no activity for 12 months or more).

Does Rink Studios disclose your personal information to anyone?

We take your privacy very seriously. In order to serve you it is possible that people working for Rink Studios might view your personal information to make sure we are providing you with the best service possible, but such access will be on a need-to-know basis only and they will be required to keep your personal information confidential and use it only as provided by the Rink Studios Privacy Policy.

Rink Studios may aggregate your personal information with similar data relating to other users of the Website in order to create statistical information regarding the Website and its use, which we may then share with third parties. We are committed to protecting our users’ information. To further protect your information, you should consider changing your password often.

While we take appropriate administrative, technical, and data protection precautions to safeguard your personal information against loss, theft or misuse, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction, no security measures are completely secure, and we do not guarantee the security of user information.

Rink Studios works hard to keep your personal information safe, accurate, complete and as current as possible. You can help us keep your personal information accurate by updating such information whenever appropriate.

Internet Protocol (“IP”) Addresses, cookies and other variables:

In common with most websites, we use cookies, web beacons and other standard Internet
technologies to help us improve the Website.

An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer by your Internet service provider whenever you log on to the Web. Web servers automatically identify your computer by its IP address, so when a user requests pages from the Website, our servers log the user’s IP address. The IP addresses of our users are collected only for the purposes of system administration and to report aggregate information to our strategic partners or third parties who perform services on our behalf (e.g., credit card processing). In the event that Rink Studios launches community-based services such as message boards, blogs, comments, instant messaging and other similar services, you should be aware that any information you share is visible to other users. We advise you to use caution whenever you share information and/or audio content, and you should not share any personal information in any community forum.

In addition, if you listen to any sounds uploaded by another user or view videos that they may have uploaded, the fact that you have listened to those sounds or viewed those videos may be shared with that user, so that they can track the popularity of their content. Similarly, if you comment on any content on the Website, your comments may be viewed by all users of the Website.

Please note that information that you submit to one of these forums can be read, collected or used by other individuals to send you unsolicited messages. Rink Studios recommends that you do not share personal information through these forums. Rink Studios is not responsible for the personal information you choose to submit in these forums – you are solely responsible for any content that you post there, including but not limited to, any personal information that you may reveal. In using any of these services, you agree that you will not use them for any purpose that is unlawful or in violation of Rink Studios’ Terms of Service. Please note that Rink Studios, in its sole discretion may (but is not obligated to), monitor postings in these forums to assure that users are complying with the Rink Studios Terms of Service.

It is possible that at some time Rink Studios might link to other websites, apps, tools, or services (together “Other Services”). If we do, and you choose to use any Other Services, please be aware that such Other Services may not be affiliated with Rink Studios and are not subject to Rink Studios’ Privacy Policy. Rink Studios is not responsible for the privacy practices of these Other Services and we encourage you to review the privacy policies of all such Other Services before connecting or sharing any personal information.


Rink Studios and its servers are based in the United States, and your personal information is collected, stored, used and shared in accordance with United States privacy laws. However, users  from other countries, outside of the United States and its Territories, may be able to access the Website. By using the Website, you consent and agree to be governed by the laws of the United States with respect to processing and use of your personal information.
